The terror is officially back. After years of fan demands and radio silence, Creative Assembly and Sega took the Summer Game Fest stage to confirm that Alien: Isolation 2 is in active development.

The Xenomorph is returning, and the survival horror genre is about to get a massive upgrade.

What We Know

While the announcement trailer was primarily cinematic, the developer promises a return to form:

  • The Development: Creative Assembly is back at the helm, ensuring the same tension and atmospheric dread that made the original a classic.
  • Advanced AI: The game is built specifically for modern consoles and PC, aiming for upgraded artificial intelligence systems to make the alien even more unpredictable.
